Door to Door selling of Diamond & Moissanite testers led to an order of big loose Moissanite stones in Pune. The idea of selling Moissanite loose gemstones popped into the head of Mr Parag and he then applied for the distributorship for Moissanite stones to Charles & Colvard.

Sanguine Industries felt the need of a brand and Saurabh Agrawal coined the name Fiona – Fine Moissanite Jewellery which became the first and only registered brand in India to sell Moissanite Jewellery.

The distributorship was given to Sanguine Industries on trial basis against sales target. With this success the company shifted base to Mumbai from Pune and opened its first office in the heart of the diamond market which was Opera House in those days.

Moissanite was hardly known to even traders at this point of time and was sold only as Natural diamonds by the retailers. To put and end to this Parag Agrawal felt a strong need of starting an awareness program through Exhibitions and Events, as a result first seminar in Moissanite was held in Mumbai with huge turnout.
